Privacy Policy
FastSheet, a spreadsheet for the Mac. Last updated 10 October 2026.
Summary
FastSheet does not collect, store or send any personal data. Your workbooks stay on your Mac.
What FastSheet does with your data
FastSheet works fully offline. The files you open and save, and the Python macros you run, stay on your Mac. FastSheet has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
When FastSheet uses the network
- Mac App Store version: the 14-day trial and the purchase are In-App Purchases handled by Apple. FastSheet only asks the App Store on your Mac which purchases your Apple Account owns. Apple's privacy policy applies to the purchase: apple.com/legal/privacy.
- Version from fast-sheet.com: when you enter a licence key, FastSheet sends that key once to Gumroad, which sold it, to check it. Nothing else is sent. Gumroad's privacy policy applies to the purchase: gumroad.com/privacy.
- A link that you click in a workbook opens in your browser.
- A Python macro that you write yourself can use the network only if you write it to.
